About Me

So, what would you like to know?! My name is Mark Keeble and I was born on the 17th August 1966. I live in Great Wakering, a small village near Southend, Essex. Before you ask, no, I'm not an "Essex Man"! I am married to Vicki and we live with our very special daughter, Isabelle Elise and our two cats Milly and Molly (who for some reason are called Minkle and Polly Woggle! Don't ask me why!)

I have had an interest in magic for about 16 years. However, I have only been performing seriously for about 7 years. My first love was card magic. But my interest in magic in general and the allied arts grew and grew. I now perform far more children's magic than card magic!

I think to be a great children's entertainer you have to truly love children. Anybody who is just in it for the money will soon be found out. You must also have fun in doing whatever it is you are doing. If you're not having fun how do you expect the children to?

Favourite TV programs include: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Scrubs, Malcolm in the Middle and Futurama.

Favourite books include: Far from the Madding Crowd (Thomas Hardy), Memory, Sorrow, Thorn Trilogy (Tad Williams) and the James Herriot Vet books.

Favourite records include: Dancing Queen (Abba) - best pop song ever written, Bat out of Hell (Meat Loaf) - best rock song ever written, Your Song (Elton John) and The Fire Inside (Bob Seger)

Favourite Hollywood Babes include: Jennifer Aniston, Penelope Cruz and Keira Knightley

Other interests include poker, horse racing, reading, travel and walking
